ECO FAMILY FEST
EMPOWERING EVERYDAY ACTION FOR CLIMATE CHANGE
​I am happy to announce my first annual “ECO Family Fest” that will take place on October 5th, 2024, from noon to 5 pm at Richmond Hill’s historic “Town Park”. In collaboration with Climate Action Richmond Hill, the ECO Family Fest is a family friendly, free event featuring entertainment, activities, displays, and BBQ , all centered around how climate change is driving innovation across all sectors, particularly those in transportation. The theme of our event is “Empowering Everyday Action for Climate Change,” where we aim to show our community how simple, positive choices can make a significant impact on the environment, the climate, and our health.​

Event On-Ice
I will be hosting a thrilling ice-skating event that's not only packed with fun for families but also showcases some of the incredible on-ice activities our community offers. Come out and be a part of it!

Come and enjoy an hour and half skate! Try the speed shot radar gun! Witness some of Richmond Hill’s amazing athletes demonstrate their skill.
Come experience the exciting on-ice activities that Richmond Hill has to offer - from pleasure skating, to figure skating, to hockey, and Ringette!
​
Enjoy pizza, beverages and light snacks too.
It's an all-inclusive event where attendees will leave with smiles and souvenirs, thanks to our sponsors.
Although this skating event is open to all Richmond Hill residents, space is limited due to capacity restrictions. Registration is required.
​
This will be an evening of pure joy on ice for all ages.
​
Donations to the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank will be gratefully accepted.

Richmond Hill's 150th Anniversary
Richmond Hill was officially incorporated as a “Village” in 1873. To commemorate this milestone anniversary, we’re hosting activities for the community throughout 2023. From tree plantings and community activities, to public art and time capsules, we’ll have something for everyone in Richmond Hill to enjoy.
Kozak Park Revitalization -
Design Underway
Plans are underway to revitalize Kozak Park located at 183 Stephenson Crescent. This includes a new playground, safety surfacing, concrete curbs, walkways, lighting, fencing (along north property line), site furnishings and planting. Construction is proposed for 2024 pending Council approval.
